Lessons:
Knockillaree Riding Centre offer lessons all year round, from beginners to advanced and competition level, providing a high standard of tuition. The Centre offers lessons to all ages, with individual or group classes tailored to meet individual requirements – including classes for people with special needs, such as those with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.
Our Centre is AIRE Approved with qualified BHSAI instructors, and is approved to teach up to BHS Stage 2 Stable Management, Horse Care and Riding exams. Our resident teacher and trainer is owner Roger Joyce who is BHSAI I.C.E.S. qualified, and has an excellent reputation for coaching top-class riders. Roger has recently qualified as a Therapeutic Riding Coach.

- Show Jumping lessons weeknights (by appointment)
- Private lessons daily (by appointment)
Each summer we host a children’s pony camp – stay tuned on social media for dates and details!
Show Jumping:
Knockillaree Riding Centre run show jumping leagues throughout the year at the yard. This competition is open to all standards of riders and new members are always welcome to join. Specialist show jumping lessons are available for all jumping abilities. Specialised lessons provided to help improve student’s Flatwork for Show Jumping, Dressage or Ridden Classes.
